STEP 3: RE(SOURCE) YOUR HEALTH

↑↓ SOCIAL HEALTH

This component of whole health has to do with managing the relationships of life. Social health focuses on having an intimate sexual relationship, closely connected friendships, healthy family interactions, productive work associationsand beneficial day-to-day exchanges. Here is where we make a decision on how much to invest energy, time and resources. Social health is about being authentic with everyone and vulnerable with a few.

↑↓ PHYSICAL HEALTH

The emphasis here is on how we express our health with our body. A physical health focus includes things like exercise, nutrition, diet, rest and recreation.

↑↓ INTELLECTUAL HEALTH

This component of holistic health has to do with how we use our mind. It is thinking on what can inspire not just on what is required. Intellectual health encompasses both concrete and abstract thinking. It incorporates focus and mindfulness. It promotes intelligence to create new intelligence.

↑↓ EMOTIONAL HEALTH

This component of whole health has to do with how we express our feelings. Emotional health is about being proactive in expressing emotions in healthy ways, both personally and relationally.

↑↓ SPIRITUAL HEALTH

This component of whole health has to do with our search to answer big questions that are common yet abstract; questions like: Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? Spiritual health is about having a sense of peace, joy and alignment in life and with death. Although it is different for everyone is common to all.
