Hide & Seek Communications Part 1

Hide and seek communication is about hiding a response and seeking to understand.

It is the 5th habit in the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey

There are two modes of communication:

1.  Verbal communication

2. Non-verbal communication

There are two roles of communication:

1.  The primary communicator – the active listener.

2.  The secondary communicator – the person that is speaking

Eyes are the windows to the soul, the window to the heart.

Any intense communication that lasts more than 30 or 40 seconds will create information overload.

It is not about trying to win the point but get the point.

Communication is always about connection.
